Jeg havde på et tidspunkt leget med idéen om, at tage nogle billeder, hvor jeg malede mig selv, så det lignede et malet portræt i stedet for et fotografi. Sådan er det nogle gange; man kan blive nødt til at tænkte bagvendt. Jeg var dog klar over, at idéen nok ikke var helt original, så efter en hurtig google søgning, kom jeg face-to-face med det fantastiske arbejde skabt af Alexa Meade: en amerikansk kunstner i tyverne, hvis æstetik inddrager elementer af fotografering, maling og iscenesættelse til at at danne de mest interessante levende stilleben fotografier.
Det er slet ikke til at se, at det er rigtige mennesker, hvis hud er blevet malet til at matche baggrunden, så hvis I ikke helt tror det, kan I jo tjekke bl.a. denne artikel, der indeholder nogle behind-the-scenes billeder. Er det ikke fantastisk? Jeg er i hvert fald latterligt imponeret af hendes nytænkning og talent!

You can't even see that it's real people, whose skin has been painted to match the settings, so if you don't quite believe me, you can check out this article, which contains some behind-the-scenes pictures. Isn't it awesome? I'm ridiculously impressed by her talent!
